Can I get a refund for inflight WiFi that didn't work?

You may be able to request one. If you paid for internet access and it was unavailable for all or part of the flight, that is a reasonable basis for a refund request to the airline or to whichever connectivity provider billed your card. Whether any given request is granted is up to that airline or provider. We can't promise an outcome, and nobody honestly can.

What evidence should I send?

Screenshots taken during the outage are the most useful thing you can send, especially with the time visible. More than one, spaced apart, helps show how long the problem lasted. The purchase record matters too, because it shows what you paid and who charged you.

How much does RefundFlightWiFi cost?

What makes a refund request work

Two things carry most of the weight: proof that you paid, and proof that access wasn't usable.

Take a screenshot showing the problem, with the current time visible if you can.
Stay connected to the aircraft WiFi while you screenshot, if that's practical.
Take another screenshot later if the problem is still happening.
Note roughly when the outage started and when access came back.
Save the email or receipt showing what you paid and who charged you.

Unavailable beats slow

A session that never connected, dropped and stayed down, or kept disconnecting is easier to describe than one that was merely slow. Speed is subjective; unavailability is not.

Who charged you matters

Sometimes the airline sells the session. Sometimes a connectivity provider bills your card directly. The request needs to go to whoever took the money, which is not always obvious from the charge on your statement.
