Terms of Service
Version 2026-09-01-draft · Last updated September 2026
These terms describe the RefundFlightWiFi Pass and the claim service, and the basis on which they are provided.
1. What RefundFlightWiFi does
RefundFlightWiFi offers a free Pass you can create before you travel. With a Pass you can save upcoming flights, receive an optional email reminder on the day of travel, and document an inflight WiFi outage while it is happening.
RefundFlightWiFi also helps travelers request refunds for inflight WiFi purchases that did not work as expected. You give us information about your flight, your purchase and the problem you experienced. We review it, decide where a refund request should be directed, prepare and submit that request, and manage the response.
RefundFlightWiFi is not an airline, not a connectivity provider, not a law firm, and not an insurer. We do not issue refunds ourselves.
2. What RefundFlightWiFi does not do
We do not guarantee that any refund will be recovered. Airlines and connectivity providers each apply their own policies, and any of them may decline a request.
- We do not provide legal advice or represent you in any legal proceeding.
- We do not promise a particular timeline for a response.
- We do not control whether or when a provider issues a refund.
3. Your Pass
A RefundFlightWiFi Pass is a free account. Your email address is how you sign in; there is no password. Flight reminders are optional and can be turned off at any time.
Creating a Pass is not a claim and does not authorize us to contact an airline or connectivity provider. You can ask us to delete your account by emailing support@refundflightwifi.com.
4. Claims and authorization
Submitting a claim is a separate step from creating a Pass. When you submit a claim you authorize RefundFlightWiFi to contact the relevant airline or connectivity provider about your purchase, and to share the information and evidence you provided for that purpose only.
That authorization is recorded with your claim — the name you typed, the time, and the document version shown on the Authorization page. Creating a Pass is not claim authorization.
You confirm that the information you give us is accurate to the best of your knowledge, and that you were the person who purchased the WiFi session in question.
5. Fees
The Pass is free. There is no charge to create an account, save flights, receive reminders, or document an outage.
If you submit a claim there is no upfront charge. If RefundFlightWiFi successfully recovers money for you, our standard success fee is 10% of the amount recovered, unless a different rate is shown to you before you submit that claim.
If nothing is recovered, you owe nothing.
When you submit a claim we save a payment method. Nothing is charged at that point. The success fee is charged only after RefundFlightWiFi has confirmed that money was actually recovered.
6. Referral rewards
RefundFlightWiFi may offer a reduced success fee in exchange for qualified referrals. A referral does not qualify simply because someone follows your link or creates a Pass; the qualification criteria are set by RefundFlightWiFi and may change.
A reward applies to your next eligible claim and does not permanently change your pricing.
7. Your content
You keep ownership of the screenshots, receipts and notes you upload. You grant RefundFlightWiFi permission to store them and to share them with the relevant provider as part of pursuing your claim.
You are responsible for not uploading material you do not have the right to share.
8. Stopping a claim and closing an account
You may ask us to stop work on a claim at any time before it is recovered. If money has already been recovered, the success fee for that claim remains payable.
You may also ask us to close your Pass and delete your account. Closing an account does not cancel a fee already payable on money already recovered.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, RefundFlightWiFi's total liability in connection with a claim is limited to the fees you paid us in relation to that claim.
10. Changes
We may update these terms. The version that applies to a claim is the version shown to you when you submitted it, which is recorded with your authorization.
Continued use of a Pass after we update these terms is acceptance of the version then shown on this page.
